Kaneka Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Minoru Tanaka) will raise the sales price of photovoltaic products by 20% for shipments on and after July 1. This will apply to all products using residential and non-residential photovoltaic systems.June 13, 2023
In addition to the persistently high cost of raw materials for photovoltaic modules, the rising procurement costs of power conditioners and other peripheral components are also placing pressure on business revenue.
Kaneka avoided price increase by focusing on cost reduction in order to accelerate the adoption of clean energy to society. However, the measures have reached their limit therefore Kaneka had no choice but to make price revisions to continue to provide photovoltaic products to the market in a stable manner.
