Kaneka Employee Presented with IEC1906 Award by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC)

Thomas J. Moran of Kaneka Americas Holding, Inc. (Headquarters: Texas, USA; President: Katsunobu Doro), affiliate company of Kaneka Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Minoru Tanaka), has been presented by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) with the IEC 1906 Award.
 
Established in 1906, IEC is an international organization with over 80 member countries that creates electrical and electronic technology standards. The IEC 1906 Award is presented to individuals and organizations who participate in IEC's technical activities in recognition of their exceptional contributions to the standardization of electronic and electric technologies.
 
As the leader of an international standard creation project, Thomas J. Moran greatly contributed to the formulation of the IEC63092-1 and 2 international standards for Building Integrated PV (BIPV). He was presented the IEC 1906 Award in recognition of his achievements.
 
Kaneka is providing BIPV in the installation of windows, walls, and other building elements to achieve high power generation performance combined with appealing design. We will continue to promote the greater adoption of high quality BIPV.
